DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

In the state of Texas, patients can receive treatment without a referral for up to 10 consecutive business days. After those 10 business days the patient will need a prescription from a physician, dentist, chiropractor, podiatrists, physician assistant, and/or advanced nurse practitioner to continue treatment. You may fax or email a prescription to our personal fax/email or you may present the referral on patient's first appointment.

WHAT CONDITIONS DO YOU TREAT?

We treat any type of musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, vestibular issues such as joint injuries, muscle strains, ligament tears, vertigo, balance, global weakness, post-surgery conditions, strokes, Parkinson's, TMJ, neck pain, low back pain, and much more...

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

We are currently cash-based only, but are currently working on credentialing with medicare and supplemental insurances.

WHAT DOES THE INITIAL EVALUATION LOOK LIKE?

The initial evaluation starts with an initial appointment set up by you and the therapist for convenient time and place of evaluation. Then initial evaluation is conducted to determine diagnosis and start of plan of care. Patient will get educated on diagnosis and given exercises to start doing independently until next follow-up appointment with therapist. At the end of first appointment, you and your therapist will discuss scheduling to plan most convenient days and times for treatment that typically last 45 minutes - one hour.

HOW MANY TIMES PER WEEK AND HOW LONG?

Frequency is discussed between you and your therapist, but typical frequency is to be seen 1 - 3 times per week. Treatments lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, maybe a little longer depending on your diagnosis.

DO THE VIDEOS GIVE TREATMENT OR FORMS OF TREATMENT?

No, the videos do not give treatment to any diagnosis as that takes more extensive evaluation for specificity towards patients individually. The videos contain general education and information of typical sources of pain in today's society that would benefit from quick tips and advice that you may have wanted to ask a professional, but maybe did not want to go through the whole process of setting up an appointment for a quick question about general sources of pain.

WHERE DO WE DO OUR TREATMENT VISITS?

Our motto is "treatment that comes to you", so that could be from the living room in your house, back yard, park, gym or work office. It's up to you!

DO I KEEP THE SAME THERAPIST?

If you are like us then you do not like change so you keep the same therapist for all of your treatment sessions. Of course the exception to this is if the therapist is sick or on vacation, but in this case you would still get your treatment sessions with another professional who may fill in.
